Keyboardist/pianist since 1982, with a blended pop/smooth-jazz style.

I'm a native of Glendale Heights, Illinois, and my musical journey began when I was 14.  I discovered the anthemic sounds of bands like Journey, Foreigner, 38 Special, Survivor, and Night Ranger, and was captivated by the soaring keyboard parts that formed the foundation of their iconic songs.  That inspired me to explore the instrument myself, experimenting with an old Casio home organ/keyboard my mother had at the time, laying the foundation for my future musical endeavors.  Later influences include U2, Bon Jovi, Boston, Bryan Adams, REO Speedwagon, Bruce Hornsby, Brian Culbertson, Michael W Smith, Chicago, and others.

Rooted in the Midwest CCM scene, I developed my foundation through years of leading and participating in various musical teams while touring throughout the region. This journey helped me cultivate a signature style that is a deliberate balance of soulful expression and technical precision. From re-imagining traditional hymns for modern congregations in Northern Illinois to my current work in the Florida Panhandle, I remain dedicated to bridging the gap between authentic, raw performance and the cutting-edge technology of the modern stage.
